Retreat

A Retreat is the act of giving up and withdrawing or a time away in a quiet and secluded place where you can relax. It is typically designed and organized specifically to facilitate the ability of a group to step back from their day-to-day demands and activities for an extended period of concentrated discussion, dialogue, and strategic thinking about your personal future or about specific issues.

This is something we rarely do to asses our personal needs, yet it can hold the most benefits for our health, our work, and our social abilities. There is substantial evidence that shows taking down time actually yields higher output in the workplace and results in a more satisfied personal life.

This becomes a self fulfilling prophecy as our quality of life takes an upturn, so does our environment, this projects on to those arounds us, which then reflects back on to us, and everything improves.  This experience is badly needed right now as we all battle with COVID fatigue, lockdown frustrations and quarantine anxieties.

There are so many successful strategies we can offer that will help you address this conflict and help move towards a better future with clearer path.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Journaling

Journaling is the practice of keeping a diary or journal that explores thoughts and feelings surrounding the events of your life.

Journaling can help you process your symptoms and improve your mood. It helps you prioritize problems, fears, and concerns. It can also track any symptoms day-to-day so that you can recognize triggers and learn ways to better control them. You will have an opportunity for positive self-talk and to identify negative thoughts. Getting started and keeping a commitment to this is often a block to a successful journaling practice. We show you how to remove that block.

Yoga

We use yoga as an opportunity to encourage you to move your body. It’s a system of exercise that is accessible to everyone, regardless of age, shape or fitness level. It is a complete myth to say “I am not flexible enough for yoga” Our teachers craft each class with care and consideration to each student.

We teach in a way that takes you feel safe, welcome and capable. Even if you have an established practice, our experienced teachers will set you on your way in your morning flow.

“ The way to the body is through the breath…”

Everyday we use a different theme and intention for the practice to help you explore and experience yourself in a new and unique way.

Breath

Quite simply, the elixir of life!

Without it we are nothing, and with it we are everything!  The correct access to breath will change everything in your day.

Using your breath you can reset your central nervous system, you can feel inner strength like a super hero.

Remember…. when you own your breath, no one can steal your peace.

Meditation

Mind over Matter, It’s true.

You really can rewire neuropathways simply by sitting in stillness. Thousands of years ago the Buddhist monks knew this, but now we can prove it.

The brains plasticity, also known as neuroplasticity, is a term that refers to the brain's ability to change and adapt as a result of experience.

That experience can be how we behave and act through calming the mind following a mindful meditation. Particularly if the practice is done first thing in the morning before taking any other action.

Habit Stacking

Also termed “Habit Chaining”.

The process involves grouping together small activities into a routine which you link to a habit already set in your day.

This makes the routine memorable and anchors your new habits to an existing trigger.

workshops

Life is for real, its not a rehersal.

But sometimes its wonderful to have an arena to work through some skills.

When it comes to a new mindset, or a new behaviour. A workshop setting is the ideal safe space to see how things can play out.

Maybe if there is something that does not seem to workout in your life a workshop can be the place to see why and how. Workshops help you see through not only your eyes, but the eyes of the other participants. Helping you understand the dynamics at play, perhaps for family members, friends or work collegues.
